Next November the project results will be disseminated and food prototypes will be tasted in the Euskadi-Basque Country International Cheese Festival to be held at the Kursaal in Donostia-San Sebastián.

This festival is the most important gastronomic event of the year in Donostia / San Sebastián, is led by the association of shepherds Artzai Gazta, and as collaborators are the Denomination of Origin Idiazabal, the Basque Government and the Government of Spain, the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, Basque Culinary Center and Donostia / San Sebastián 2016 Foundation.

Furthermore, the organization World Cheese Awards will be present at the festival, awarding the prize for the best cheese in the world of each modality.

The festival has special areas for business between different producers and buyers. With the participation of producers Denomination of Origin cheeses from Spain, internationally renowned chefs, artisans, universities, and cheese-making and gastronomic companies.

The program includes a variety of technical presentations which will involve the AZTI Technology Center, presenting several projects including VALORLACT.
