VALORLACT project was invited last June the 29th to the seminar organized by CEBAL in Beja, Portugal, as part of the project called TEC-MEM. This project concerns the application of membrane technology in food and agriculture and specifically in the milk sector.
CEBAL is a private technology center working in biotechnology applied to agriculture. They organized the seminar on the issue of whey from cheese makers to disseminate the latest advances being made in this area to dairies in the region. They also attended the event, responsible for environment and wastewater management of the municipality.
Besides presenting the overall results of VALORLACT, they were given to taste the food prototypes developed in the project, with great acceptance among attendees.
